Service Advisor

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Service Advisor in Milford, Surrey. Duties of a Service Advisor:

• Welcome customers and handle inquiries promptly and professionally
• Schedule service appointments and monitor vehicle repairs
• Act as a liaison between customers and the service department to ensure seamless operations
• Provide accurate information regarding services, costs, and timelines
• Recommend additional services and upsell where appropriate based on customer needs
• Address customer concerns and complaints with empathy and professionalism as a Service Advisor
• Maintain detailed customer records and logs of service transactions
• Support the service team with administrative tasks as required

Requirements of a Service Advisor:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential for customer engagement
• Enthusiasm for the automotive industry, with a basic understanding of vehicle maintenance
• Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills through training
• Previous experience in customer service or motor trade advantageous but not essential; trainees are encouraged to apply
